Jacquie Ray celebrates masculinity and spoils us with her talents once again with her latest series, 'The Beauty of Men'. Ray was inspired by photographs of beautiful women on the internet and decided to give the girls a run for their money by depicting pictures of nude men shown in a similar light. She has been blessed with a number of influential men in her life and wanted to pay homage to these beings by having fun with the project. Each male model expresses his own unique story. Ray claims ,'I wanted to show a personal part of each subject but also a disconnect of who they are and their bodies. Each man has a story, from self growth, married life, personal body issues, self mutilation for someone else's pleasure... but in the end I wanted to show a group of men who are free and open with their bodies. no matter what our personal preferences are and who or what we find "attractive", our bodies are beautiful and are art.'
