Appropriating Lingerie as Outerwear/Everyday wear, A Pearly's Prediction's Original

Welcome to the first installment of Pearly's Predictions! Happy to announce I will be doing a monthly spotlight on trend forecasting for the always sexy POTG readers ;-).
To kick off the first, I will revisit a trend both I & Shelby Sells have used as a go-to for years now. The simple slip as day wear. Tricky to make look effortless & not like you forgot to put on a proper dress, I feel it is more the attitude that comes with wearing your slip in public. Feeling sexy & seductive in any situation all while maintaining control of your surroundings, makes for a confident anybody. A slip has the effortless chic thing going to where you can pair with your favorite sneakers to run errands or some platforms for a nice dinner. Channeling your inner sexpot whenever you like! No need to feel pressure from today's society to look or act a certain way, the slip dress is the perfect *F You* to any misogynistic male that deems it only appropriate for the 'bedroom setting'. As time goes on in my life I find more courage to wear what ever the hell I see fit for day to day situations in my life. Here I go appropriating lingerie as outwear. Stop the sexualization of a slinky garment & allow a woman(or male) to wear what ever she damn well pleases. On that note, let's visit boys in lingerie. A style statement that has been known to cause waves since the 90's when Kurt wore Courtney's slips, & damn did that make my heart quiver. There is something about a gentleman that wears a dress that speaks to me...
To round out this babble of a 'prediction'(that is really just a tbt, but we need to start somewhere in order for you to understand & identify not only my style but I know our beloved Shelby's style as well.) wear bra's as tops, underwear as shorts, put a got dang bra over your shirt if you feel the need! In my world everything goes, there is no right or wrong as long as it is a pure intention of your heart & your soul. I have added some photos of outfits I made about some lingerie pieces. Out to the club or at the local Trader Joe's I always like to look & feel my best, & sometimes that means wearing a got dang nightie as a dress, or a leotard as an outfit. :-)
