You’re newly single.
Very newly. Very single.
Tell me how you’re feeling about being single after being in a relationship for almost 2 years.
I think I’m pretty numb still, but I’m happy to have a fully furnished, amazing apartment. It’s like a dream come true. I live above a vintage store, right next to my favorite movie theater. Things are coming up.
Has this impacted your views on dating in LA at all?
I think it was a beautiful experience, but for now I don’t think I’m thinking about dating at all. Maybe a casual free dinner and a cuddle, but that’s about it.
What are your views on sexuality in pop culture/day to day life/media etc?
I think it’s fully embraced in Los Angeles and in any big city. Once you get into a small town and stuff it’s still looked down upon, but it’s more laxed than it has been in the last 100 years. It’s getting there and I think it’s definitely embraced here. You can’t drive a block without seeing a billboard about ‘anti-children’ haha. I think it’s a good thing it’s embraced - I hope it travels there for small towns, too.
Thoughts on promiscuity?
I think that everyone should have their boundaries and it’s all about whatever you’re comfortable with. In my opinion, flirting with your eyes is awesome - like through conversation and stuff, but when it gets to sex I think it should mean more. I’m all for casual sex, but not often. Do it with the same casual sex friend. Keep it small in the numbers.
What are some things that you think are overrated sexually?
Shower sex is very overrated. Anything in the water, very overrated. Anything on a beach, completely overrated.
How do you feel about having nudes on the internet?
Umm I started modeling before I was 18. I always really really for some reason loved nude photography, so when I turned 18 I was like ‘fuck it! let’s do it!’. Once I started doing it, it was so liberating that now I prefer to be naked over clothed in photo shoots. You don’t have the clothes to play with, only your body. You have to know how to work your body. You have to know your angles for you stomach and your kneecaps and to point your toes etc.
Do you think more people should embrace nude modeling?
I think there’s enough people that do it. I don’t think that everyone should be a nude model, but I think that everyone should be comfortable in their own bodies for sure. You’ll get a lot more done with your life and you’ll be way more happy.
If you could have sex with anyone in the whole world who would it be and why?
Obama. jk haha. Honestly, I think James Franco. He seems like he’d be fun. It’d be more of an adventure than all about sex you know?
How do you feel about birth control?
I only ever took the kind that planned parenthood gave me. My weight was crazy, I was breaking out, I was psychotic. I was very emotional. I would cry at the drop of a pin. I was definitely not myself. I wouldn’t recommend that. Some people can handle it, but I think that over time on your body it can’t be good. I think your body should naturally produce the hormones it was meant to. I’m all for condoms vs birth control.
Say you’re out at a bar - what can a guy do to get your attention?
Probably just like, I mean if he can tell I’m into him, grab my face and start making out with me. Say cute sweet things. Me and my ex had a problem with not being able to be romantic together, like ever, so for the next guy it’s going to have to have lots of romance involved. You can’t live with someone for 2 years and not do much special. You gotta still do things together besides seeing each other at home. Random things like notes in your shoe or cute picnics, anything…ANYTHING.
What are you looking for in your next relationship?
I just want to be fully understood and appreciated and adventurous. I want someone who’s going to inspire me everyday, like make me want to get up early in the morning to make them breakfast, you know what I mean? Just…inspired.
Any last words on sex/relationships/etc?
If it’s not working, don’t fix it. Don’t waste any time. If you’re not happy get the fuck out. Love ya.
